Day 4 - May 21, 2012
Likeke Hike through the Old Pali Road. I loved the feeling of being in a familiar place but seeing it from a totally different perspective. I’ve driven through this mountain countless times, and had no idea that this hike ever existed beside it. Made me think about how many amazing things there are out there to discover just by taking one step outside of your normal routine. No more wasting time sitting at home waiting for life to happen, time to get out there and explore and LIVE.

When we get out of our own way, when we return to love, when we live in the moment, that’s when love can truly be present. If we live in the future, like, “Oh my God, how am I gonna do that next Tuesday?”—Where are you? You’re certainly not available for love.

Day 2 - May 19, 2012
Beauty surrounds us, sometimes you just have to remember to pause and take a peak.

Day 1 - May 18, 2012
I really needed a day like today. Lots of sunshine and friends, good conversation. The best type of conversation is that in which you can hop from serious topics about life and love to trivial things like who died on the last episode of Grey’s. I’m thankful for the friends I have with whom I can talk to on this kind of level.
Here goes my mini 365 project (which I tried once and failed). I’ve always wanted to try again, especially now that there is instagram which makes photography so accessible. Why am I posting my random summer musings on this blog? For myself, really. I love the idea of collecting all these visual memories, brief 1/60 seconds in time, in one place to reminisce about later on. I write for myself really, never for an audience. So if you do just happen to be a friend or a stranger giving my words a few minutes of your day,  well, hi. :) This is me.

Wake Me Up

The past few nights:

Running away, tight spaces, clock ticking, sweat dripping, free falling…

I think that nightmares and dreams are the coolest things, I just wish I understood them. It’s as if my mind is screaming at me to listen, but I don’t have the proper set of ears to comprehend.

99 days of summer

Summer project, 1 blog a day, beginning tomorrow :)
